A vibrant and inviting place for all
Modern community and neighbourhood centres offer a universal point of access for members of the community. Each centre responds in a unique way to promote the social connectedness of people living in the local community.
Orana Community Centre offers group activities, social support, information and referral services as well as opportunities for education or to learn a new skill. The staff and volunteers at Orana are dedicated to enhancing the overall wellbeing of our Lavington and Springdale Heights community.
We offer facilitated playgroups, with weekly themes, a magnificent outside area for your children and the opportunity to socialise with other parents, grandparents and carers.
We also offer classes and social groups so you can meet new people, learn a new skill (or share your skills) in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Tea and coffee available too.
Whether you are new to the area or have lived here for a long time, Orana provides activities for everyone in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. We even have a tennis court!
If you have any specific needs, please let us know and we can provide you with information or link you to organisations who may be able to further assist you.
If you have an idea for other workshops or classes or if you have a skill you would like to share with others, we would love to hear from you.
Don’t hesitate to call our friendly staff, or simply drop in and have a look at what we offer. We look forward to welcoming you!
